STC Stonework creates original stone features
for properties around the UK; from one off firepits to
bespoke water features and from Moongates to
stone seating to outdoor kitchens to saunas.
Below is a small selection of the work I have done for clients around the UK. Scroll down for more...
Stonework is not just my job, it's my passion. I love my job and have the knowledge, skills and imagination to work with you to create custom features for your property. With nearly 20 years experience building features and feature walls using stone and lime there are few projects that I haven't built.
I started nearly 20 years ago after growing disillusioned with a previous career. I built literally miles of drystone walls and mortared stone walls before I started more bespoke projects and I still love building walls for my clients now. I must admit though... I like the bespoke stuff best of all!
Drop me a line and let me guide you through some original ideas that will make your property even more special!
I do not charge for online estimates but may need to physically come to your property for a more accurate quote prior to accepting a job or commission, this visit will be charged for due to the amount of travelling and time this can involve.
My projects are charged as a flat fee which will include everything and my final quote is binding.

Based in beautiful Pembrokeshire I work on commissions anywhere in the UK and have done in the past!
I have previously built... Streams, moongates, staircases, water features, seating, walls, fireplaces, chimneas, firepits, showers, log stores, (more) walls, a vegtable patch (well...sort of), outdoor kitchens ,niches for coffee, cider and plants (not neccessarily in that order) and (yet more) walls!
I also do interior work such as feature walls and fireplaces as well as repointing older properties.
This website contains some of my favorite work but there is much more on my Instagram page at 'masonsouthwest'.
I started building stonewalls nearly 20 years ago after an abortive career in publishing and PR. I love my walls, I love the craft of building them and I've built many miles of them; both mortared walls (with either lime or cement) and drystone walls!
Pointing and repointing is the craft of removing a cement (it's usually cement!) render or pointing to replace it with lime pointing. There are huge benefits in doing this not least of all is the ability of lime to allow a building to breath and let moisture escape, helping water evaporate through the pointing and going some way to alleviate damp problems inside your home.
